You're invited to visit wineries located in the Chianti Classico area. You'll visit the cellars, the modern vinification rooms and the ageing cellars. You'll taste Chianti wines such as Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Vin Santo (the typical dessert wine of the area) as well as other types such as Supertuscans, Vernaccia, etc. In most estates, while enjoying the wine, you'll be offered some extra virgin olive oil served on slices of bread. During the tour, your English-speaking guide will explain the history of Chianti from medieval times to our century, the history of Chianti wine, anecdotes and curiosities, local traditions, people's lifestyle and much more.
